We can build your software for free.
Not a trial. Not a discount. For projects we choose to accept, WareBench can waive the development fee because the resulting software becomes part of a public, reusable open-source ecosystem.
What “free development” means
WareBench does not charge a development fee for an accepted project under this model. In return, the commissioning organization accepts that the resulting software can be published, distributed, demonstrated, reused and evolved by WareBench, normally through a public origin repository.
Why a company would do this
You can get a real software solution without funding a traditional development engagement. The trade-off is that you are not buying exclusivity: the solution can become useful to other organizations too.
What acceptance is not
Submitting a project does not create an obligation to start, finish, maintain or deliver it. WareBench decides whether to accept a project, its priority, scope, implementation approach and whether continued development remains justified, unless a separate written agreement explicitly says otherwise.
